Boom-Boom Benny “Blast” McCoy — this lunatic used to be the mastermind behind the Major’s explosive and tech weaponry, all in service of conquering Grand Chien. But he grew tired of his commander’s madness and bloodlust, sending soldiers to die on the front lines as little more than cannon fodder. Benny decided to run, and that’s when A.I.M. stumbled upon his profile — now he sells his talents to the highest bidder.

Another rumor, whispered by former Legion goons, claims he was actually kicked out — quite literally — after smoking too close to a stash of nitrotoluene (a key TNT ingredient), which supposedly ignited from his cigar and took a good number of his comrades with it. “The Blaster” somehow made it out of the Legion’s bunker known as The Rust in one piece — something he can’t say for his favorite weapon, which he admits he loved more than his ex-wife. In their spare time, they used to go “frog hunting” with hand grenades, back when Benny wasn’t busy cobbling together his latest contraption. He still insists that little “toy” was his greatest achievement… despite his rather questionable mechanical skills.
