Tortugan Tower

Description
Dam Challenge - Tower!!!

*Far to the west of the Sword Coast, between the Moonshae Isles and Evermeet, giant turtles called Tortugans are bred and raised by a seafaring race of Tortles called Pratchlings. These Pratchlings construct enormous city-structures on the backs of these Tortugans, and should you ever be so unfortunate as to be lost in the Trackless Sea, I pray you have the good fortune of coming across them.*

This Tortugan Tower is, like every other, constructed entirely of salvaged materials and woven reeds, kelp, and seaweed. It may appear precariously balanced, but the city is securely fastened to the Tortugan's shell by a series of meticulously checked ropes, all tied and interlaced to ensure maximum stability.

__Features:__
- An aft-facing crane, where your shipwrecked party will begin their visit.
- A land-dweller style tavern, complete with a collection of salvaged liquors (taste and efficacy may vary somewhat from the bottlers' intent), and a home-made fermented crustacean beverage, referred to by the Pratchlings as "Crabernet."
- A land-dweller style room, with a moderately normal bed, small table, and a chest for your party's belongings.
- If the party ventures below-decks, they will find the salvage shop, where debris from shipwrecks are brought to be worked into useable materials. The party's boat (or one they can purchase or trade for) is just outside this shop.
- Above the tavern, there is a small trading area, where some of the rarer and more interesting salvage has ended up. Any or all of these can make for excellent plot hooks, if needed!
- Just outside the trade room are some sitting areas, and additional tables with sturdy handmade baskets, and a few hermit crabs.
- Above these visitor-oriented decks are the places the locals call home. This includes a communal sleeping area and communal eating area, as well as a large cabin for the village Chief, and above that, a smaller cabin for the only person more important than the Chief: the Weather Watcher.
- The narrow tower at the top contains a few more places to sleep, for the Weather Watcher, and any other lookouts.
- The very top is of course the crow's nest, where it's possible to have a 360-degree view of the entire ocean.

This tower is designed to function as a self-contained city, with crops contained in baskets, a series of "crab pots" being fished behind the Tortugan, and many possible plot hooks.
(With a little work, this city could be easily adapted for Spelljamming, as well!)
