XML Document Viewer and Export

In 1 collection by Imranfish

Description
View the Defs XML Document at various points in the patching pipeline. Helpful to see the results of patches or resolving mod conflicts. Can search for Defs using XPath, and optionally, export results to an XML file. Located in the mod settings menu.

The UI is very optimized and can display very large amounts of text with no framerate drop. You can search "/Defs/*" and view the entire XmlDocument at full speed.

Load order does not matter.

Recommended mods:
* XML Extensions and/or PatchOperation Stack Traces

* Xml Patch Helper

Is it possible to make the tool show which mods add patches to a specifc path? That would be extremely useful for figuring out mod conflicts very fast.

Thanks!

Yeah, you have to access it via the Gist URL to get easy access - otherwise you'd have to go through 'regular' Github repo ways, which are a bit too tedious just for filesharing. :)

I have a github account, but I don't really use it other than to submit bug reports, etc. I went on there to see if I could upload it, but did not find the option. What am I looking for if I just want to upload a text file to share?

@VitaKaninen - on the topic of sharing logs and file-hoster... I personally recommend using Github/Gist anyways. Only downside is that you need an account to upload via Gist, but having a Github account is not exactly a bad thing - especially if you're into modding - can always be helpful. And the moment you have one, using Gist as file-hoster for textfiles is the most reliable alternative imho. Pastebin & Co. are either fucking up formatting or are outright censoring files for unknown reasons. Gist never let me down so far at least.

Lol - was about to generate a log for you as well, then saw the new update. :)

That seems to have fixed it, thanks!

@VitaKaninen I just added another fix. Try it one more time, thank you for your patience.

If you know a better way to share my log with you, please let me know. I can't really use Hugslib, since the screen is black. The Sharetext.io site is not preserving the formatting, and is making everything appear as one long line of text.

This one is a little better: https://justpaste.it/jkgwf

I am still getting the black screen. There are also a lot of weird texture errors that only appear when your mod is loaded, for some reason.

Here is my log without your mod: https://sharetext.io/38899d87
And another with your mod loaded: https://sharetext.io/3e88be7e
