1971-1972 RAC 508.13

В середине 60-х годов 20 века компании RAC было поручено разработать городской автобус большого класса, конструкцию которого, при желании, можно было бы унифицировать с автобусами пригородного и междугороднего сообщений. И так, в 1971 году, в металле был создан RAC 508.13. Автобус для своего времени получил рубленный и минималистичный дизайн, который оказался очень даже стильным. RAC 508-й серии вышел высокопольным со среднемоторной компоновкой, что очень облегчило его обслуживание. Салон был оборудован 13-ю сидячими местами и накопительной площадкой в задней части автобуса. Заказчикам очень понравилась данная машина, так как они увидели в ней большую перспективу. Так RAC 508.13 и пошёл в массовое производство. In the mid-60s of the 20th century, RAC was commissioned to develop a large-class urban bus, the design of which, if desired, could be unified with suburban and intercity buses. And so, in 1971, the RAC 508.13 was created in metal. The bus received a chopped and minimalistic design for its time, which turned out to be very stylish. The RAC 508 series came out high-floor with a mid-engine layout, which greatly facilitated its maintenance. The cabin was equipped with 13 seats and a storage area in the back of the bus. The customers really liked this machine, as they saw great promise in it. That's how RAC 508.13 went into mass production.
