this collection have essential mods for every major player, if you aren't a server owner i would siggest removing the mods related to item cleaning and merging itens on ground (except if your pc is literally a calculator).

i use all of these mods on my twitch related DST server

for newbies:
beefalo widget
chest hilighter
combined status
epic healthbar
extra equip slot +
geometric placement
global positions (if playing multiplayer)
insight (show me +)
instantly insights (if using skill tree)
loot ++ (ONLY MULTIPLAYER)
no thermal stone durability

every other mod is just for servers or people who know what is doing
