Not sure if Steam is just being Steam or not, but since your update earlier on the 24th the mod is hanging on trying to install the update and refuses to finish.

So is the lack of shadows on all these mods ever going to be fixed? Making a shadow lod for a model is among the easiest things to make in terms of Arma modding.
