Trader Ships Retexture

This mod gives the trader ships from the trader ships mod a new look that closely resembles the Odyssey DLC’s passenger shuttles. The mod’s UI buttons got new sprites too.

Important
To make this work, I needed to do a little more than just replace the textures. Trader ship sprites are assembled from different, randomly picked parts, so in order to make the shuttle look acceptable, I had to make some xml patches.
Basically, before enabling this mod, make sure to send away any trader ships that are currently on your map. Errors will happen if you don’t. You can send them away after enabling the mod, but your log will keep spewing errors until you do so.
Other than that, there are no issues with enabling this mod mid-save.

Future plans
Because this mod was made on a bit of a whim, there are a few less sprite/texture variations than in the original mod. I do plan on adding more in the future from time to time though.

You might need to put the pieces together tho, unless you're fine with just using the "ship.png" which gets used for in-game previews

Would you mind if I used this sprite (with credit) to make a patch to the shuttle sprite used in Realistic Orbital Trade ?

@Best Username To Exist currently it's on pause cuz I'm working on a different mod project, I'm considering releasing some features, like that tunneler drilling mod, as their own standalone things tho.

Also I'm currently hyperobsessed with Metaphor: Refantazio so it's possible that I won't be working on my mods that much for a while, sorry about that xd

@Tleno I have, tho I decided that I'm gonna do that later cuz I wanted to continue working on another mod for the time being.

I want the shuttles to have a chance to appear with turrets too...they wouldn't be functional tho. Would be fun to have some spawn with a cryptosleep casket strapped to them too.

This is very cool but if you got the artistic skill have you considered adding variants with goods and containers strapped to exterior? Feel like that'd be very visually descriptive.

Is there any chance you could make an inverse of this with the trader ships replacing our new shuttle asset?

@Shimmer I was considering doing that to make my life way easier, but trader ships are actually wider than shuttles [by 2 cells], so I had to make all sprites from scratch.
