Balloon Fighter

This character is made based on the moveset created by LuigiGamer08 and Triforceriku, and masterfully sprited by Triforceriku for Super Smash Bros. Crusade.

The Balloon Fighter has been adapted to fit right in on Rivals of Aether, with a focus on stage control. Fighting against him feels like stepping right into a Balloon Fight stage, you must stay aware of your position, dodge oncoming hazards, and pop balloons before they pop you.

The Balloon Fighter can have a maximum of two balloons active on stage. When creating them, he can set their initial height, then later influence them with gusts of wind from his projectiles.




The iconic stage hazard is launched forward, sending out a gust of wind that pushes any balloon in its path, no matter how high it is floating.

Inflates a balloon directly in front of you, in the direction you are facing. The longer you hold the special button, the higher the balloon will ascend once released.

Pops one of your balloons beneath you for a quick upward boost. The burst also creates a damaging hitbox, catching nearby opponents off guard.

Balloon Fighter lunges forward with speed. If he crashes into an enemy, he bounces back from the impact. This move can also be used to intentionally pop your own balloons.
