Currently the visual tier of the toops are arbitrary, but mod should be functional.

ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION:

The Warhammer 3 installment of Black Powder Blessed. This was made with collaboration with Jensehc & Nightsaber for providing the new artillery models. My thanks to snek for his bayonet animations. This mod is supposed to be a Guns of the Empire lite. The units are inspired from the Napoleonic Era.

This mod adds the following new units:
1.) Line Infantry
Armed with musket and bayonets, they have lower range and less accurate shooting compared to Handgunners. They are however, much more potent in melee. Charge defense vs large.

2.) Jaegers
Light infantry armed with rifles. They have longer range and more accuracy compared to Handgunners while also having vanguard deployment and stalk. They have less firepower due to a smaller unit size and longer reload.

3.) Marines
Empire marines are a step up from the Free Company Militia. They are aggressive infantry units that ignore terrain penalties and are good at dealing with opposing infantry in melee.

4.) Hussars
Light cavalry upgrade to pistoliers. Excellent at harassing the enemy, charging targets of opportunity and running down enemy infantry.

5.) Cuirassiers
Heavy cavalry meant to breakthrough the enemy line. Compared to the traditional heavy cavalry, they trade shock value on the charge with better melee stats and pistols.

6.) Ordnance Rifle
An upgrade to the great cannon, these rifled guns fire with more accuracy and range.

7.) Licornes
These are gun-howitzers using indirect fire to shell the enemy with high explosive incendiaries.

There are also a few balancing tweaks to the Empire artillery (mainly helblasters, helstorms, mortar wagon) so they still have a place in your armies instead of just using the new artillery pieces.

I doesn't seem like the new units are getting bonuses from Elspeth's Gunnery School upgrades. They aren't included in the list of affected units.

Thank you, i didnt test the bonus, just had a general preview on the bonuses display, in this case everything should be in order, great work again, I will enjoy this mod

@changjunghsuan I'm not sure exactly how the Gunnery School works, but I beleive for Lords skills and Technology they do receive bonuses - it just isn't displayed.

There is a table called unit_set_to_unit_junctions_tables where you list a unit ID and then what categories it should receive buffs from. So eg, we have our Line Infantry (bpb_emp_lineinfantry) receiving the same buffs from Lords skills and Technologies (and maybe Gunnery School) as:

emp_infantry
emp_state_troops
wh2_dlc11_emp_free_company_crossbowmen_huntsmen_archers_handgunners_pistoliers_outriders

Its so nice to see this mod recovered!! Thanks a lot men, you are my hero! Yet still some issues remain, these units are not enhenced in the tech trees and lords buffs, the gunnery school has no impact on the buffs too ,wonder if there is any chance to work on that?
