The Second World War has fallen with a bloodstained curtain, but the world peace people expected did not come. The greedy victors wrote the chapter of a new order, but could not hide its bloody undercurrent. The Greater German Reich rose during the world war, its iron boots treading across every inch of European land, burying freedom, reason, and humanity beneath concentration camps and trenches. In the East, the Three-Legged Golden Crow hung high in the sky, symbolizing the arrogance and madness of another empire. The United States survived the nuclear fire, draped in the name of freedom, yet unable to extricate itself from civil strife and political division. This insignificant planet in the universe is now controlled by the strange hands of death and order.

Yet, on this dark map, there remains a small piece of land that quietly resists.
Free France, this seemingly absurd remnant, bears the legacy of the entire Republic and struggles for survival on the shores of Africa. Since General de Gaulle raised the Lorraine Cross on the Ivory Coast, twenty years have swiftly passed like a waterfall. This land once formed the frontier of the French colonial empire, but now it is the last refuge of Free France. The knights' land is no longer vast, and the bells of Paris have long fallen silent, but the soul of the Republic—"Liberty, Equality, Fraternity"—has not yet died.

Players will take on the role of a nearly hopeless regime, an exiled government struggling for survival in the tropical mud. There is no clear path ahead, only deepening cracks and imminent choices: will you retreat into the old colonial dream, maintaining a broken class system? Or will you take a gamble, forging a new government truly belonging to all the people?

The Republic’s enemies are not only found on the northern shores of the Mediterranean or along the banks of the Rhine. In the dense forests of the East, a distinctly different flag is rising. The Cameroon African Nation—a new government formed by revolutionaries, idealists, and armed farmers—has rapidly consumed the southeastern corner of West Africa. They claim to shatter all imperialist legacies, to liberate the African continent with fire. They reject all forms of white rule, whether it be Free France cloaked in the guise of a republic, or the colonial ghosts of the Nazis. They cry out that "Africa belongs to Africans," but the guns in their hands are pointed at anyone who questions them.

Between cities and villages, another force is rising—enlightened individuals, democrats, and natives, who are no longer willing to endure being treated as the margins of society. They demand the right to education, to votes, food, healthcare, and dignity. They are no longer content to gaze at the distant shore, but seek to shape the future of this land with their own hands.

This journey through twenty years of gunfire and bloodshed may fail, it may betray its original vows. But only by walking this road can Free France escape the nightmare of defeat and stand tall in the new order.

This is a struggle between ideals and reality, and the ultimate trial of a lost soul.
