Outfit Stands Plus

Leírás
About this mod
This mod aims to make outfit stands more convenient to use by adding a few QoL features:
  • Set owner gizmos are added to outfit stands, allowing them to be assigned to pawns.
  • Return to stand action is added to complement the default Equip outfit action. When used together, they allow swapping outfits with a single button press without extra micromanagement (see preview gif).
  • Allow adding items gizmo is added to complement the default Allow removing items one, to ensure your outfits won't be accidentally messed with.
  • Outfit stands are minifiable again, and a bug that caused a patch to make them non-minifiable is fixed.

It also adds several hi-tech versions of a vanilla outfit stand, each locked behind own research:
  • Mechanized outfit stands massively improve outfit swap times.
  • Mending outfit stands also slowly repair stored items.

This mod essentialy ports most of the features of my older mod, Armor Racks, onto outfit stands. Check it out if you don't have Odyssey or don't like the outfit stands for some reason.

Too all and to @khamenman. The Devs of HAR is aware of the issues with the Outfit Stand and a fix done already on the Dev Version. However some of the Race creators on HAR have some ideas they want to work/test out. As such no real ETA when the update to fix the Race exclusive outfits not staying on the Stands will be released.

If you want Deets check the comments on HAR mod page and my discussion with the guy managing the Mod on steam.

If you want to know the exact details of the bug in question go there and read my comments there.

YES YES YEEEES, thanks for this! A dev on the discord said it was impossible to do it, and you freaking did it, amazing work on it!

I'm just dumb and didn't see the tooltip, whoops. But it would be nice if you changed it so it doesn't cache the setting so it would update already placed stands.

@khamenman i understand that allow adding items shouldnt affect removing. i managed to nail down that this mod has a conflict with one of my mod. seems to work perfectly fine otherwise. sorry for the trouble

Same here, could you offer a menu option to disable research and buildability of new stands, or just offer QoL feature separately by itself?

Same request as Apathethic Slug, would it be possible to have QoL version only?

@Aeon
Try this out: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3235960401
It's "Move Interaction Spot" by Mlie, I have zero clue if it'll work for you. But if it doesn't you could possible ask Mlie to add compatibility for this mod.
Would probably be a lot easier than have khamenman change this mod up.

*I too like the changing in front of it, makes more sense to me, but to each their own

@khamenman Sent a bug report plus log to HAR dev. Hopefully they can fix the issue. It is very hard to use the Outfit Stand and your mod while this bug is happening.

In case you want to see the log; https://gist.github.com/HugsLibRecordKeeper/127cf6f298f8db239731a3e04f90e9dc

@Aeon I might look into making it a setting later. Personally I prefer pawns changing in front of the stand rather that behind it or whatever, hence the interaction spot

Love the mod but would it be possible to remove the 1 tile interaction spot and make it the same as vanilla outfit stands. I installed this mod mid run and i couldn't replace all of the stands with the mending ones because of spacing issues
