Description

A dream come true.... LITERTALLY

THE BACKSTORY:
This character is based on a dream I had before the DLC was announced. In this dream, there was a yellow knight that was added to Castle Crashers via a new DLC. This knight's element was bleed, inflicting an effect similar to the Green Knight, but still unique enough, and having it's own special properties, like not really working on enemies like skeletons.
The entire DLC was themed around a completely new area, with a bunch of new unlockable characters. The area being themed around snow, and ice, with it eventually ending with a fight against an old knight which was sealed inside a tomb.

About a month after my dream. The Painter Boss Paradise was announced.

Thank you Behemoth and Newgrounds for influencing me, and for making my childhood.

I hope you all like her, and while I can't give her the blood magic like she had in the dream, you can always just pretend :)

The character that was the final boss in the dream is available to download now!

This is very, very cool... Exceedingly cool.

I'm not gonna soapbox too much here, just enough to make comparisons, but people just ripping IPs and copy-pasting them into Workshop isn't really all that interesting to me, so I feel the need to give this the praise I feel it deserves.

A gestalt, unique, thematically distinct character borne of your own creativity and experiences that are clearly deeply personal and meaningful to you. Allegorically compelling backstory, and I love that your dreams became an inspiration to create this. Not to mention just how thematically coherent and consistently high-quality your artwork is, fast approaching the kind of expertise and stylistic flourish only seen in Behemoth's official character designs.

All that being said... This is an exceptional piece of art. Deeply personal, expressive, meaningful, with a significant degree of care, attention to detail and technical mastery on display.
