Škoda 27Tr Gen III

Description
A fully Vanilla Articulated 4-door Trolley Bus based on the Škoda 27Tr generation III.

Important!
  • Use physics Simple 6! (Simple 7 is usable, but at lower FPS, Simple 6 achieves more than 60 FPS)
  • Use this vehicle on-road, if you need to go offroad, enable the Ride Height using Button 9!
  • After the bus gets dropped from the lift, all doors can be opened using the outside buttons near them, open any of them, go inside and press Button 1 twice to switch to normal door operating mode!

Features
  • Fully flexible articulation part with low complexity and high flexibility. (Thanks to Kein Anderer for help!)
  • Working trolleys with physics.
  • 4 fully working doors with a request system and proper alarm using a mechanism based on the real counterpart - even including acceleration and deceleration on the door bearings, making it feel really smooth! (Thanks to LostLi for programming that!)
  • Realistic indicator lights with sounds and synchronization if you enable both! (Thanks to LostLi for programming that!)
  • Adjustable ride height, which also has kneeling (when raised up and if any doors are open).
  • Working wipers with 4 speeds - Off, Intermittent, Low, High. (Thanks to LostLi for programming that!)
  • Working lights with 4 modes - None, Exterior, Interior, Both. (Thanks to LostLi for programming that!)
  • Great detail with very little z-fighting.

Controls
  • Operating Doors
    • Button 1 opens all currently requested doors, even allowing people to request them when it is enabled. This also clears the stop request.
    • Buttons 2 & 3 override behavior of Button 1, allowing you to open the first door, or all doors respectively.
    • Button 4 opens the interior driver door, works as a normal switch.
    • When the doors close, alarm sounds for a short while before they start closing, and stops after full door closure.
    • Blue buttons on the door handlebars request the current door, the other blue button is used to signalize a wheelchair user (or a person with a stroller) wants to exit the vehicle.
    • Red buttons signalize a normal stop signal to the driver, used for request only stops. EXCLUDING those on top of the doors, which if held detach the door if in need (IRREVERSIBLE! This detaches the controller used by the door!)
  • Driver's Controls
    • Buttons 1, 2, 3 & 4 - Operate the Doors (as explained above).
    • Button 5 - Cycle Lights - Off, Exterior, Interior, Both.
    • Button 6 - Cycle Wipers - Off, Intermittent, Low, High.
Buttons 7 & 8 - Turn Signals. If both are pressed, they will be synced to form the hazard lights.
    • Button 9 - Switch Ride Height - If on, the bus will kneel when any doors are open. Keep off when driving on flat roads.
    • Button 10 - Mount the Trolleys - Unlocks and raises the Trolleys.

Recommendations
  • Use with Seats++ mod, that adds in farther zoom (so that you can see the whole thing) and also tooltips for all the buttons.
  • For even better looks, use a mod that removes edges from the wedges, such as Wedges WITHOUT Frames.

More info
You can read this page[en.wikipedia.org] (do note that the bus portrayed is the IV gen, not the III gen) or this page[cs.wikipedia.org] (you can use the google page translator, it does a good job).

I am a simple man, if I see the word "skoda", I will add it to my favourites

@kuru we did not implement reverse lights because there's no simple way to detect speed , only acceleration. We didn't make brake lights either because... idk. If you want, you can DM me on discord (@ lostl1ght) and we'll try to figure smth out for your build together

@LostLight Is there any logic for brake lights and reverse lights? I want to fully utilize all the lights in the build, but I don’t quite understand how to do it. I already have a WS converter installed in the trolleybus, but it’s not enough for full light detailing since it also needs to read braking. Overall, I have an idea of how it could be done, but how to actually implement it - I have no clue

also if anyone wants, i can publish the logic used for the windshield wipers, lights, blinkers (which comply with the international standard for turn signals IRL) or doors. I have both compacted (exposed inputs and outputs and the rest glitched into 1 block) and uncompacted (big ol' slab) version

Thx

Yea, i build and make stuff (even mods) that anyone else can use or modify (substantially that is, copying the whole thing to change a single thing is a no go imo), i think the other builders are fine with it too, enjoy!
