Custom Map Generator Size

Description
Set the Rimworld map generator to use any size you like upon map generation.

Custom made by me so I could use larger maps along with the "Launch into empty space" mod and build a giant f-ing space station.:

Can be added/removed from saves, settings will immediately affect newly generated maps.

Thank you so much man. I was having issues with my gravship literally not being able to fit anywhere on the final boss mechanoid platform since I am using the Bigger Gravships mod. Turns out a 75-tile wide circle (~4k substructure) makes Rimworld unhappy. Just forced the map to be larger, and it works great! Absolute life saver

that one also turns off narrator ai on bigger sizes?

Does this just affect the size of maps in space or does it also do planet side?

@MorphingE If you want to land on any sort of people/formations/land then you'll need "Land on Anything". If you just want to get past the "Must be connected to Land" message when picking a spot in space, I got you covered!

I use 250x250 myself for any space station building, 100x100 is just too small

Oh, also, what is your map size preference? Just idle curiosity.
MorphingE 12 Aug @ 5:46pm
@Kupie does that mean that we can use either or? Or would we need both LAnd on Anything and Custom Map? I currently have both installed.

Unless I misunderstood what I read!

Also, thank you for this mod x.x

@Brumes Wolf

I still might! I make mods and code stuff as a hobby so it's not like it's awful to do

@masternetra Added a feature to move the ship to any empty space when landing. I also requested the dev of "Land on anything" to add the feature too perhaps; It's a setting in this mod that's on by default now.

That would be great, but don't put too much effort into it, and once it works I doubt it would need to be updated in the future
Kupie  [author] 12 Aug @ 1:27pm
@masternetra Since it sounds like a nice feature, so I'll add it if the dev of "Land On Anything" doesn't add it! I figured out some code to make it work (it's a bit complicated, harmony transpilers aaaaa) but it's quite the shitty code so I don't want to release it if someone better than me does instead!

@Brumes Wolf I'll see what I can do to get it working for 1.5; It's time consuming to keep multiple mod versions for different game versions going though

@Kupie - Sadly landing out in open space seems to be one thing it doesn't allow you to do.
