Details
This mod lets you use a wall-mounted solution for heaters and coolers. You will first need to research them in the electricity category before you can build them.

This is my first mod for Rimworld, so I am sure there may be some problems. I have tested it for a few hours, and it seems to be working fine. I have had no errors, and I am not sure if it will conflict with any other mods. Feedback would be much appreciated.

Specs Per Unit
Build Cost: 42 Steel and 2 Components.
Power Consumption: 175.
Research Cost: 500.

Based on the default/vanilla heaters: Wiki/Heater [rimworldwiki.com]

Currently supports the following languages:
Chinese, Czech, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Russian, Spanish, and Turkish.

This mod is © 2025 5tratz. Reuploads, edits, or redistributions are not permitted without explicit permission. Only the Steam account "5tratz" is authorised to host this mod on the Steam Workshop.

Oh yeah, they work fine in space now, before they were struggling. Thanks for the changes.

@Cozy - You haven't updated to the latest version. I have already changed the values to match those of the vanilla heater & cooler; I haven't tested it in space yet. As they are smaller, I suppose I could always lower the power consumption, which makes sense. I will wait for further feedback first. The default heaters use the same 175 power consumption: https://rimworldwiki.com/wiki/Heater

Yeah, i know these are supposed to be weaker then regular heaters, But they are insanely weak and inefficient power wise to a normal heater when you're in space. It'd be nice if they consumed less power.

- Fixed the white lining on textures, thanks to (Veltaris) in the Rimworld discord for the help.

Hi! I really like your mod, it replaced two mods I used before, and currently I think this mod is doing well! However, the texture seems not very perfect, because when zoomed in, there are white borders, and it couldn't perfectly blend into my wall. The white borders make it very noticeable!:er_heart:

@Will Kydd - it is working fine, I just tested it, check this image [ibb.co], having the heater set to 60c makes the room so hot that the colonist gets heatstroke as shown in the other image here [ibb.co]. Please only report it not working without other mods running, and unsubscribe and subscribe again, as I changed the code earlier to work as the default values do as mentioned further below.

Cooler works, heater doesn't. In fact heater cools rooms to slightly lower than outside (e.g. outside it's 11C, inside 8C).
