Description


This mod offers a variety of new heraldic themes and shield types. The collection is continuously expanded – finally, your Powerbloc can have an expressive and meaningful coat of arms.


Version 1.0 (2025-09-30) currently includes:
  • Over 150 new charges in various sizes give you more than 300 options for animals, symbols, plants, and more.
  • Over 40 new shield types and variations

Planned Updates
  • Even more options
  • Update the AI selection for Powerbloc emblems so that they fit the country, Powerbloc, ideology, and traits more appropriately.

This is a one-time issue. Since I have completely overhauled the mod, any coats of arms you previously created will no longer display correctly with the current update. Unfortunately, this step was necessary so that, in the next stage, the AI can make more meaningful choices and combinations for coats of arms. This problem will not occur again with future updates.

What you can do:
Simply open the coat of arms editor and recreate your design. With the new update, you now have over 150 unique charges (more than 300 versions in total) and over 40 new shield types to choose from. I hope you can forgive me for this one-time extra work on your part…

Updated for game version 1.10.2 - 2025-09-30

"Overhaul" - v.1.0 - 2025-08-14
  • 28 new shield types
  • 12 new charges - a total of 312 charges (including the different sizes)
  • Standardized charge sizes so there’s always a perfect fit for any shield type.

Update - "Beta" - v.0.9 - 2025-08-07
  • 3 new shield types and 9 new variations to fit different armes.

Possibly repeating patterns of national symbols, Like the Japanese Imperial Family's Sun, or the Iron Cross

That suggestion is great! :) I’ve already created a few patterns but after a while I wasn’t sure what else to add. Do you have any ideas for patterns? What do you have in mind? I’d be happy to include them.

The worst thing that can happen is that after disabling this mod you see a pink box instead of your CoA. In that case, you just need to open the Power Bloc Designer, select and edit your coat of arms. After that you can save the game with deactivated mod. Your savegame will work fine without the mod. This way you can turn the mod on and off. There are no further complications as far as I know.
