Since the original creators of "Ultimate Superhero Sweps" have seemed to abandon the addon(it hasn't been updated in 6 years...), I decided to import the Spider-Man Webshooters into a standalone addon, because this is honestly the most fun to use and best Spider-Man mod I've seen. I don't why no one has made something like this. All of the other Spider-Man mods are super boring and slow with the web swinging(I'm talking about you SpiderMod clones). The web swinging in a lot of the Spider-Man mods uses an elastic rope which pulls you towards the point of contact and is extremely slow to web swing with, while this one uses a rope which is a lot more realistic and fun to use in my opinion. If no one was going to make something like this, I had to step in and do it, by taking an already existing addon which has exactly what I want, and that has been abandoned while kind of fixing some issues.(I hope someone decides to help with the bugs🙏). All I did was take out the Spider-Man SWEP from the addon along with it's models, materials, sounds and code. For the code, well, I only understood 30% of it, because I have never made a single script in LUA before, so in short, I have very little, almost to NONE LUA knowledge. That means that there are bugs! Yay! I somehow managed to fix most of them. I seriously have no idea how I did it.😭

BUGS!!!

The bugs that are present are very weird? There are four that I am mostly aware of, those being: Some playermodel viewmodels have this weird flickering effect when the toolgun is equipped? How the hell does that happen, I have no idea. if you have knowledge on LUA coding in GMOD and SWEP creation and you think you know how to fix this, you can message me or add me on Steam, because I am not gonna waste time trying to learn LUA just for one GMOD mod when I am trying to work on my own video game project that is in a different coding language. The second bug is when you are holding down left click to punch and you are aiming towards an object while going back and forth, causing you to take damage, LMAO. The third is while you have your Webshooters activated and you use the R web dart on an NPC, and it will sometimes stun them in place, other times not, and when you try to kill the NPC with your E web darts after you hit it with the R web dart, it's HP will go down into the negatives! So to kill the NPC you will either have to punch them or just use a different weapon. The fourth is that while you have your web attached to an object and it gets deleted or it breaks, the entire SWEP will break. To fix that, just restart the server. A little extra for you to be aware of is that using a playermodel like the ERROR one will cause LUA errors! So make sure you are using a proper playermodel, mainly humanoid ones.

CHANGES!

Here are all the changes I did to the SWEP. First, I removed the annoying forced thridperson, forced playermodel switch, the tutorial that appears on screen when you use your walk key along with removing the fact that the SWEP would be removed from your inventory after it is holstered(you switch weapons, duh). In the original addon, you could only disable the forced thirdperson, playermodel and tutorial, but you had to open the console and type "hero_nothirdperson" and so on. I also added the entire moveset description to the SWEP's instructions, so you can just read them in-game. I also lowered the run speed and jump power a bit, because holy, do you fly across big city in just one press of jump while running.

CONTROLS AND TIPS!

DEACTIVATED WEBSHOOTERS CONTROLS
Left Click[HOLDABLE] - Punch your enemies with your fists(and sometimes yourself if you read the bugs)
Right Click - Do a backflip kick that damages enemies and sends you slightly into the air(if you spam it, you can go even higher into the air)
E - Spider Sense(basically gives you wallhacks)
E(HOLD) - When you are falling and you're next to a wall, look at it and hold E to start climbing up. The faster you are falling, the faster you will climb up.
V(NOCLIP) - If you press your noclip keybind, you will do a small jump towards where your crosshair is looking. If you are in the air already, you will just noclip.
ACTIVATED WEBSHOOTERS CONTROLS
SHIFT[HOLD] - When you start sprinting, you will go into the Webshooters mode.
Left Click[HOLD] - Attach a web you can swing from to any collidable object or entity(Has infinite range which means you can attach a web from one side of the map to the other in just a single click instantly, since the webs do not travel to where you aimed it, but it instead just instantly attaches itself.). To let go of your web, just stop holding Left Click.
Right Click[HOLD] - Does exactly the same as Left Click, allowing you to have two webs at a time if you hold Left Click and Right Click.
E - Shoot web dart projectiles that do damage to enemies.
R - Shoot a web dart projectile that wraps up the enemy in webs on contact and sometimes stuns them.(you would know if you read the bugs!!!)
R(While holding down Left or Right Click) - Shoot a web that propells you forward at incredible speeds in any direction you're facing(Legit just a web zip).

Now, here are some tips for you if you want to use this to its full potential. For web swinging, you will mainly want to attach your webs not too far away from you, preferably above and in front of you, because this mod doesn't automatically swing for you. You have to do everything yourself. To keep momentum don't hold W(Forward) while web swinging, and instead you should use A or D to strafe while in the air. If you lose momentum, use your web zip go gain back speed.

INCOMPATIBILITY ISSUES!

[VManip] Vaulting - https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2364206712 (Causes you to lose the ability to web zip or use R while Webshooters are activated. This happens when you trigger vaulting while the Spider-Man SWEP is active. To fix, just unequip the Spider-Man SWEP and wait around 5-10 seconds. After 5-10 seconds, you will be able to web zip and use R once more after re-equipping the Spider-Man SWEP.)
