Devlog TV

Plays the most recent* ZERO Sievert devlog in the hub. This mod automatically fetches the latest devlog from the internet and as such requires an internet connection.

For all intents and purposes, this mod is an (unaffiliated) experimental version of the existing "zakov.tv" mod. This mod attempts to use Gamemaker's existing video playback functionality instead of sprite sheets, while also retrieving said video from a remote server without requiring a mod update for every devlog.

There's a lot of shenanigans going on here, you're welcome to take a look and see what's going on inside (it's mildly cursed).

Known issues:
- Audio occasionally dies at random. This is a known Gamemaker bug and isn't something I can fix (or even detect).
- The loading screen video will break when downloading a new devlog.


* YouTube's bot crackdown means my server cannot automatically process new devlogs for the moment. This will be resolved in the near future, just note that for now there will be a delay as I’ll need to do it manually.
