This one's really easy, hopefully you still have fun solving it... ;)

(If you enjoyed this, be sure to check the rest of the series - it has some basic storytelling so playing from Episode 1 is recommended for best experience!)

Yup, now it's as intended :) I agree that your previous method was definitely creative but I really wanted to make this one about using cubes as steps since it's one of the few basic mechanics I haven't used in this series until now. BTW, I like how you brought both cubes back through the laser portal - I was originally thinking about forcing that but I didn't want people to get stuck right before the end when they already figured out the core of the puzzle, typically because they wouldn't realize it is possible to grab the lower one when crouching.

I actually quite like the way I used that "fling move to bring the laser beam to the exit area ;)" but the method I used this time is also quite good  video 2 - intended solution?

No problem ;) I must have had a brain freeze when I said preventing the exploit towards the end was hard - it was in fact trivial so it's also fixed. Now you should be forced to use the intended solution...

ok, thanks, I'll replay the updated version, but probably not this evening - cheers

Hey bullfrog! :) You never disappoint to completely break any level I make :D I fixed the first part (you'll know which one when you see it) but you really caught me off guard with the (very unintended) last step - frankly I don't know how to simply block it - but it looks so much harder to execute than the intended solution that I'll probably just leave the option there - anyone coming up with such a tricky move kind of deserves that their solution works... :D Anyway, if you want to try and find the intended way, all I can say is that you're not supposed to use any fling move to bring the laser beam to the exit area ;) .

It didn't seem too "laborious" to me  video 1 - intended solution?

Thanks :) I admit it does require some backtracking. Though it's not that big so I think it's acceptable.

Nice but laborious.
