Ruhnu Island

Ruhnu is an Estonian island in the Gulf of Riga in the Baltic Sea with an area of 12km2. However the villages have typical scandinavian design, you can also find remains of the soviet occupation.

Map was created for SDS clan coop missions.Goal was to balance presentation of the real island and playability. All key location on Ruhnu Island are kept as in real life, however we added some new areas to make it more diverse (military bases, bunkers, etc.)
We plan to develop it further, so any observations, bug reports and suggestions are welcome.

Map characteristics:
- one main town and several villages
- airport
- harbour
- dense forests
- abandoned soviet radar station
- WW2 bunkers

Further plans:
- more post soviet military outposts
- tourist trails
- estonian road signs and banners
- airstrip usable for AI
- diving locations with WW2 ship wrecks
- custom objects
