POIs for all managed areas by the US National Park Service, including all 63 National Parks, but also all other monuments, battlefields, memorials, recreation areas, and more that are maintained by the NPS.

Adds an extra 812,834 daily visitors to all 393 POIs spread out across the US and its territories.
To prevent POIs from being placed in random fields, a main visitor center is used as the location where a POI is placed. This may mean POIs are far away from actual park grounds, especially in Alaska.
This mod also includes a custom demand curve which prioritizes increased visitor numbers on weekends and increased retention for further distances from a POI.

Visitor count information is obtained from the National Park Service, using the 2024 figures from the Annual Visitation and Record Year by Park report, divided over a 365 day span. Official data may seem wildly underrepresented or over represented at times. Some NPS Units do not have information avaliable on visitor count at all, but remain on this mod for posterity.
