"L'Aventure" Multipurpose vessel (exploration rescue and freight)

Description
Introduction
« L’Aventure » is based on the multipurpose ship “The Volunteer” by Kranakan and myself https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2261683009.

It is designed to be able to handle as much missions as possible in SW, such as rescue, exploration, underwater recovery, freight (containers, devices, fluid)…

I have mainly redesigned the bow, making it bigger and with extra storage capacity. The Volunteer could carry 4 containers on the aft deck, “L’Aventure” can carry 3 extra containers (1 in the forward hold with a lifting system, 2 on the forward deck), which makes 7 in all.

The ship’s interior has been partly redesigned, taking profit of the extra room.
I installed an extra crane on the fwd deck to allow handling items onto the hold.
NB : the crane comes from the “Ability of Göteborg” by Kahrstrom, with his consent (link to the ship’s page: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3325273550)

Main Features
- 2 cranes.
- ROV Submarine in the hangar, with control station on the upper deck.
- Working RHIB with fast unloading davit.
- 2 holds, one with a container lift, the other with small platform lift.
- 2 cargo tanks with pumping system.
- A pumping system in the aft hold. Allow to pump oil or water from a shipwreck and redirecting it.
- 2 water canons (control from cockpit and copilot’s seat).
- Working nav lights.
- Bow and Stern thrusters.
- Automatic bilge pumps system.
- Fire suppression system in the engine room.
- Folding mast to avoid collisions with the bridges.
- Sealed doors closing automatically, splitting the ship in watertight sections.
- Forward ballast system (to balance the ship if heavily loaded on the aft deck).
- Double balancing system (mobile mass + vertical propellers).
- Helicopter platform (for small helicopers only).
- Double Radar, sonar, beacon locator.
- Mobile cam on the mast.
- Autopilot.
- Megalodon detector.
- Megalodon emergency system (boosts the ship’s speed over 40 knots, and prevent shortcircuits in case of being bitten).
- Medical room and rescue zones.
- Rescue harness.
- Foldable ramp at the rear.
- Foldable gangway for easy access to dock.

Key Characteristics
- Length 51m x Width 8.25m.
- Max speed 21.5 knots (can be increased to 40+ with Megalodon emergency mod).
- Autonomy around 115 miles at 21.5 knots (can be increased by filling the two cargo tanks).
- Designed to house Captain, Engineer, 4 crew members and 4 guests.
- Cargo capacity 7 containers + hangar + aft hold.
- Fluid cargo capacity 2 x 14000 L (+ its own fuel).

How to start?
1/ Get to the bridge.
2/ Turn the two key buttons on the central console (one for the engines, one for the generator) and wait for 5 seconds for the engines to start.
3/ Grab the wheel and use W/S to set speed and AD to steer.
NB : most of the commands are labelled and should be found easily.

@Grubskydude 1- release the slider's brake by turning the key button located at the sub's back. 2- Either push from the sub front to make it slide out of the hangar, or tie a cable from the rear winch to the rope anchor located at the rear of the sub, then use the winch to get it out. 3 - Once it is out, release the sliders by using the other key button. When you want to get it back into the hangar you can use the winch inside the hanger above the door to align the sub with the slider before towing it inside. Enjoy!

Hi, made an update today that should fix the main door's problem, and deplaced the crane to have a better dock coverage. More updates to come soon.

@brufo thanks for sharing experience, and nice suggestion, I'll think it over.

@QbertTheKiller, right, I must have forgotten this. Anyway this means it is not obvious enough, something that should be improved.

@Ministr Fida (sorry no Russian Keyboard), I can't say how long it has taken, it is a modification of the Volunteer, a ship I made some years ago, and that I kept updating ever since. The modification itself took some time, but far less than designing the original ship.

@DRAGINZ and @Naoned as well, there are lights in the med bay, the switch is the yellow switch in the room outside, next to the ROV access door.

vv the only thing id say is that the anchor up/down and crane cable up and down buttons should be toggleable not hold, it gets kind of tedious holding it all the way down to 150m

bro i lifted a whole CONTAINER SHIP (well it was maybe half the size of this thing, but still) from the bottom of the seafloor using the crane on this thing, and then transported it all the way to the docks. all in heavy winds btw. A++ for salvage capabilities.
