Yes, I still exist. In truth, this map has been in development for well over a year. This is my first map with a full easter egg, which, believe it or not, isn't really why it took so long. Once I get the swing of anything it's not hard for me to crank it out - even if it does take nearly two years. I was doing preliminary tests while working on Waluigi Pinball and another project that was eventually scrapped, and working on several projects at once dramatically slows things down. I'll often get an idea while working and will want to jump to testing right away, which can make it hard to remember all the features, coding, mapping, and other miscellaneous progress I have on each map. If it's a strength, well, I'm having a hard time seeing the benefits here.

I think this will be my last map that follows my general gameplay formula. For future releases, I will be trying a new direction to make my maps feel more immersive and cinematic. I love the cheesy, "very obvious workshop content" charm and simplicity, but we will see how this new direction evolves over the coming years with future projects.

I also want to give a massive shout-out to Jonny Atma (GaMetal) and his Buoy Base remix for the music easter egg. This guy is ridiculously talented, and if you like heavy metal music, you should seriously check him out here.
