All about Barter system in DMZ

Barter is a game mechanic that was added to DMZ with the release of Modern Warfare II Season 3 (12 April 2023).

This mechanic allows players to exchange useless items for something significantly more valuable.

Where you can exchange
To use Barter, you need to go to any buy station on the map and select the appropriate section.

Unlike buy stations, barter offers an infinite number of items during the match, and its assortment is unchanged.

What can't you exchange?

Some items cannot be obtained through bartering until you reach level 2 of the White Lotus faction's reputation, namely:

Scavenger buy station
The Scavenger's Buy Station is a special item that appears at the point where the Scavenger appears. In order to interact with it, you must have a Disguise item in your inventory and it must be active. Otherwise, you will not be able to interact with the store.

The store itself offers a limited assortment with very attractive prices, contraband and barter:

  • Medium backpack = $2000
  • 2-plate armor vest = $3300
