With a new ascension perk called Stellar Manipulation (requires Galactic Wonders, Star Lifters and Fusion Supressors) you can unlock a new megastructure that can be built around any standard star to change it's size, either harvest it for stellar plasma, reducing it's size in the process, or inject plasma to increase it.
Stars can be drained of almost all of their mass, leaving them as a Brown Dwarf, or they can be converted into their volatile, short lived big brother: the Class O Star.
