BAM 5 - Coastal Oil Drilling

Description
Reaching the shore of the great ocean, our group stared in disbelief at the ecological disaster that hoomans left behind.

It's time for some serious clean up!

Size: 127 x 95

Gameplay information:
1. The 'contaminated' sea is held in place by the inaccessible water sources around its edge. Breaking the ground directly above/next to these water sources is not recommended, as they would most likely flood the entire colony rapidly.
2. Scrap metal is available in the contaminated sea or - as a primary source - on the Oil Rigs. each Oil Rig holds approximately 1000 scrap metal units, and there are some additional groups of metal ruins in the map as well.
3. There are 3 underground ruins, all of them 'buried' and requiring excavation.
4. There's not much soil in the map and you may need to build cofferdams or use other terraforming to gain more fertile soil.

This map competes in the Build-A-Map #5 Contest -- please upvote and favorite it if you like it!

Optional challenges:
Folk Tails: Ensure that there are no more than 200 contaminated soil tiles at all times.
Iron Tooth: Generate 12'000 hp from Badwater Discharge(s) alone.
Both factions: Operate 3 fully staffed Mines at the same time.

Feedback is most welcome!

Hi,
Finished today with the Emberpelts !!
A little boring at the beginning with the lack of space because a lot of wood was needed to make a lot of thing and there is only pines and birches..Snif !
Badtides are relatively easy to manage with tunnels and sluices but a wooden tank was needed again the droughts to me.
one time the dirt Exacavator built when you finally have, found a safe place ^^, the game move more quickly ..
When badtides sources are closed , the sea begin clean progressively..
Emberpelts must have a lot of fields also a lot of fertiles ground was made with overfhangs and dirt !!
one platform was used for the place of pleasure :steammocking:
Really enjoying the mid and end-game !! good map

i put somes screenshot on Steam.

@Jibmonk: Enjoy! It's not difficult, but it's interesting change of approach, due to the wild topography and lack of building space. I think you'll enjoy it.

I ended up irrigating the platforms and growing crops and trees on those :-)
