Description
American Truck Simulator Headlights and Lighting More Mounting Points
Optional Mod: No

V1.0
- Adds original SCS Soft Extra Lighting from American Truck Simulator to Euro Truck Simulator 2.
- Adds more mounting points to the Extra Lighting from Euro Truck Simulator 2.
- Some Extra Lighting from the Bussbygg MOD by Kast have more mounting points.
- Adds an option to the Bussbygg Trailer MOD by Kast that allows you to remove the text on the bumper.

- More mounting points for some additional lights and a rotating beacon from Euro Truck Simulator 2.

Title image revised to clarify that original ETS2 parts remain present even WITHOUT the MOD where they were installed by the MOD.

The rotating beacon functions normally.
The auxiliary headlights, on the other hand, are not installed in the designated positions, such as roof mounts or front mounts.
(This refers to the mounting points that can be activated in the game under the function F4 Additional Headlights Front Mount, Roof Mount.)
If you don't install them in the designated mounting points, they will of course ONLY function to a limited extent.
Lights switched on: off
High beam switched on: on BUT
They do NOT emit direct light and therefore do not improve visibility at night.

You can really tell whoever installed them on their truck outside of the permitted options.
Be it through a MOD or via a save game edit. They may look good depending on where you install them, but they have NO real use!
So installing them additionally really only serves a visual purpose; otherwise, they simply have no use.
Nevertheless, I wanted to allow the option to install the headlights in certain locations for those who primarily want to use them for their looks.

For TruckersMP users:
You can of course also use the MOD for your TruckersMP profile.
Start the TruckersMP profile in single player, activate the MOD, and tune your truck as usual.
All parts that are original ETS2 3D models (title image outlined in red) REMAIN in their installed position and are therefore also visible on TruckersMP. You can, of course, install everything in the MOD because you use your profile for both single player/your own multiplayer game and on TruckersMP; all installed parts remain where they are, even without the MOD active.
The auxiliary headlights for the high beam are NOT highlighted with a RED border or even visible on the title image because they are only partially usable. So if you like them, you can install them; for me, they make little sense where you can't really use them.

The exception, of course, is the ATS lights included in the MOD. You can have them installed, but WITHOUT the MOD active, NO ONE can see them, not even you.

I would recommend multiple profiles anyway. I personally have one for single player and the game's own multiplayer. I also have one specifically for the ProMODs map, which I then use for single player, the game's own multiplayer, and TruckersMP. The only thing that's included in this profile is MOD trucks and original trucks, depending on where I want to be. Since I also like to drive an articulated truck (by Kast) on the ProMODs map, I naturally also have other MODs active in the profile. That's why I also have original trucks in my fleet. It's just important that you switch to the original truck first in single player before you want to drive on TruckersMP.
For the original ETS2 map, however, I created my own TruckersMP profile because TruckersMP makes direct modifications to the original map, such as adding a company headquarters, modifications around Duisburg-Calais, or even adding something for their own events. To avoid any problems when switching from the TruckersMP MOD without the TruckersMP MOD, I use a pure TruckersMP profile, which is also simply called "TruckersMP." Since TruckersMP officially only allows certain MODs permanently or at specific times, it makes sense to use a pure TruckersMP profile.

是的,您可以使用它来为 TruckersMP 调整您的卡车。一旦零件安装到卡车上,就无需进行改装,使其与 TruckersMP 兼容。

注意:ATS 的灯光在 TruckersMP 中不起作用!
ETS2 的辅助灯在卡车上非预期的位置不再有任何实际用途!尤其是远光灯!辅助灯的延伸安装点纯粹是为了视觉效果。
