HANDMADE TEXTURES

Every genius has a weak spot: his own. Matthaio doesn't know how to draw stuff and that he's the son of man (he's only admitted one of them to this date). This mod changes the textures of the blue lobster to resemble the Rimworld style.

CONFIGURABLE JUMPSCARES

MISCELLANEOUS BEHAVIORS

The best thing a storytelling mod could have is a variety of contingencies that make a session fun... this being a simple mod, what's better than a bunch of ridiculous, highly rare situations that make you go "oh, right, I have this garbage installed"?

I panicked too when I realized it was all my fault. Anyway, let's not talk about my personal life.

Yeah, apparently the way Rimworld calculates animal spawns goes haywire if you tell it you want a 0 in 0 chance of blue-painted lobsters spawning in the wild.

Bro! Thanks the fixes added to the mod keeping it awesome, it's working way better! Slightly less cursed (oh well), aaaand I finally got my first jumpscare! Yay! My pawns didn't like it as much, but hey, they're not the sadistic archotech watching over them.
However, my second jumpscare was way more... special: it happened during the game load removing the whole game menu and leaving me only with an amazing wallpaper of a giant blue lobster menacingly hovering over the default background of the planet.

Are you fed up with your lobster committing crimes against nature? Well, now you can download a simple mod to JUST get new textures and the American lobster.

The days of EPSTEIN lobsters are over (just wait until it gets approval from an admin)

I've added a setting option to disable the jumpscare, and now it should save correctly!

I have a pending mod that only includes the american lobster + textures, if you only want cute lobster then I suggest you to turn everything off.

Deleting the assembly file may cause problems with the lobster statue, but if you don't use developer mode you won't notice a thing and it's totally fine to delete it again!

For those who don't know, in-game you can search for the mod, "open folder" and delete:
...\1.6\Assemblies folder

or in RimSort right-click and "open folder"

so far ive sort of fixed it by removing some files, not the prettiest fix but now i can appreciate the beauty of the lobsters :)

is there a way to completely turn off the jumpscare? i love the rest of the mod and love lobsters but i cant do jumpscares, i tried setting the chances to really high but it reset on next launch
