Thales' Aviation Parts and Block Overhaul Updated

Description
This is a recompiled version of this mod made by Thales: ( https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/id/thales_/myworkshopfiles/ ) so that it could be used in multiplayer and workshop with the new component modding.
Original mod: ( https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3357808533 )

This mod adds 250+ new parts. It does not change or overwrite any original files or any other mod files. Showcase of the modded parts: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2559118160

Note: I had to remove the following since I could not get them to work:
Half-Block Offset
Wheels with custom meshes

UPDATE: Piston Suspension fixed by @Holy_Crusader

That would be possible

Damn that sucks, thanks for the reply though. Do you know if I could do something like modify the mesh to have the paint I want, and use that? Like can I color the mesh itself and put that into a mod?

It would not be possible, since the surfaces used on normal components are defined using the xml file, which are limited to ones that exist in vanilla Stormworks, so you would have to do a lot more modding to get that to work. The custom shapes Thales made use a mesh, which is why they can't be painted like usual. Not to mention the physics shapes are also impossible because, just like the xml surfaces, are limited to existing shapes. If you want to mod the shapes yourself you can, but just be warned that they can't be exactly as you would expect them to look.

Also I'm just maintaining this mod if it breaks, not planning on adding anything new.

Would it be possible to make the surfaces of the new slopes and shapes paint-able like vanilla blocks? Also how much work would it take to add more shapes? At this point I'm practically about to throw myself into modding this game myself to get these shapes.

A lighter version of the mod would be great, say split certain things like blocks and parts, windows, deco and so on.

Sorry I'm not going to be adding anything new to this mod. I only recompiled and optimized the parts. I may try adding something like that on my other mod tho. I've already made a compact version of the normal light so I'm sure it would be possible
