Aegis Custom

Description
A small personal project based on the Aegis mod alongside all 2035-based CDLC (Western Sahara, Reaction Forces, Expeditionary Forces). Mainly focused on creating my version of the vanilla factions and the ones from the CDLCs with the extra factions added by Aegis, likely to come after.

NOTE: This is an overhaul of existing factions, meaning it is not recommended to use with other similar mods that also overwrite existing units. Certain changes may also have unintended effects on factions from other mods due to inheritance issues.

Content
- New loadouts across factions:
US
CTRG
AAF
FIA
CSAT (Iran & China)
Viper
LDF
Syndikat
Argana
ION
Tura
SFIA
Gendarmerie

Russia, Looters & MJTF loadouts coming soon.

- New equipment retextures and variants:
ACP-C2 variants (J45).
FIA uniform variants.
ION uniform variants.
Syndikat/Bandit uniform variants.
CSAT Urban Hex Officer's Uniform.
CSAT Berets.
Argana uniform.
Mercenary uniform variants.
Gendarmerie equipment.
AAF Military Police gear (requires Expeditionary Forces CDLC).

- Headgear Randomisation:
Certain units have had headgear randomisation enabled to for better visual variety. E.g. Rifleman (Light) now generally spawn with either a boonie or military cap.

- Expeditionary Forces Soft Compatibility Content:
With the Expeditionary Forces CDLC loaded you will also have access to my new AAF Military Police units, based upon the AAF MP appearing (albeit briefly) within the CDLC campaign.

- Item Naming Standardisation:
Fixes to spelling and an attempt to make all items follow similar naming conventions.

Future Plans
- East Wind Campaign Edit:
In future I would like to modify the East Wind campaign to fix certain inconsistencies between the loadouts I have made and certain units in the campaign, this extends to changing the equipment found in the open world patrol missions and loadouts of encountered enemies. Still have to determine how difficult it would be to acheive.

- Elite Forces Version:
Alternate loadouts that make use of the new vest introduced in the Expeditionary Forces CDLC and the retextures in the Elite Forces mod by JPAB97S.

Helmet Randomisation:
While not enabled, may release a patch that adds helmet randomisation to certain factions, making use of the multiple helmet colours/variants in-game.

- Aegis Suite Expansion:
Undecided, but may extend the work to the rest of the Aegis suite or at the very least release some fixes if there are issues caused by this mod.

The mod changes CSAT gear to more conventional gear from the Aegis & Atlas mods

I don't know of or use that mod, so unlikely. However I may look into it when my mod is more complete and see what the incompatibilities are, but no promises.
A compatability patch with "Aegis Gear Overhaul - CSAT" would be appreciated though

Otherwise, complete random chance that they all got the same hat. At least for the light units I didn't add any weighted values for headgear selection.

Ahhh. I managed to test it today and it was functioning correctly, so possibly something happening with that mod.
Yes, 10 iranian CSAT riflemen (light)

However this might be because this mod isn't compatible with "Aegis Gear Overhaul - CSAT"

Yes the AAF not having optics was a deliberate stylistic choice.
Now just to confirm it was the Iranian CSAT you placed down?
Just want to be sure since I currently don't have access to my PC so can't check personally.
Idk I just spawned 10 of them and they all had the same hat

Also is it on purpose that the standard AAF infantry doesn't have optics on their rifles? As in no red dots or scopes (Except the SL)
JTKnightmare11  [author] 8 Aug @ 7:19am
The Iranian CSAT should have? Unless I messed something up (easiest way to check is the allowedHeadgear line in config viewer). The Urban units don't because they don't have one in vanilla/Aegis.
If I did make a mistake I unfortunately can't fix it at the moment.
Awesome mod, can CSAT light infantry get boonies too?
