Advice for harder achievements
By Foghorn Leghorn
I wanted to make this guide as some achievements were hard/tedious and there was little help surrounding them. Thought I would share some advice for the ones I personally found difficult and how I went about them.

One Shoot One Death

Defeat all enemies with a headshot in the "Shootout" mission in Inspector Mode.

The way I went about this one was letting the other officers do most of the work. It helps to upgrade your sleeping quarters so you can take more hits, giving you more time to aim for a headshot.

I recommend using the starting pistol as it one shots the enemy if you hit them in the head but not on the body.

The strategy I used was running around the shootout area, hiding behind cover to heal up and shooting them point blank. It is effective but you might die a couple of times.
Pacifist
In the "Contraband Drop" mission recover all the goods without killing the smugglers in Inspector Mode.

For this achievement there is a bit of luck involved. I recommend getting the fastest car in the game (Zaved) which will give you the best chance of arriving before the smugglers.

I was able to do this on the first try but other times I wasn't able to collect them all in time. It depends on where the drop is and how close the crates are located to each other.

For this achievement, I'm unsure if you have to collect the contraband before the smugglers arrive or if you can still collect them as they are shooting you.

Although, I was able to get all the contraband before the timer ran out a few times so it is possible.
David vs. Goliath
Thwart the escape of the Ilich 57 driver with the Micros 26D police car.

This is the achievement that inspired me to make this guide as there was no information to guide me.

For this one, patience is your best friend. I got this achievement on around day 91 and the event was "unfit for work".

From my experience there is no way to trigger a smuggler to run away and I believe that it is scripted who runs away on each day.

I have reset the day countless times to get a Ilich driver to run away but no matter how you unload the cargo or where you seize the contraband they won't run away. I also believe that runaways from the checkpoint are limited to one a day.

The way I was able to trigger a runaway Ilich driver was when I unloaded cargo that I knew had contraband (fake goats) and I broke one open, it triggered the runaway.

I recommend not upgrading your officers as they may kill the smuggler before they can leave the checkpoint.

I also recommend upgrading the Micros police car so you can take the hits when you ram into the truck. I think if you can get in front of the driver and start braking, you can stop their vehicle (was able to do it with other trucks). My driver ended up getting stuck between rocks, which could have been from my constant ramming.

Note: Upgrading the Micros does not prevent you from getting the achievement.

I cannot confirm if the "pursuit" mission counts towards the achievement. I have tried once and did not get it (although I turned off the car and shot the tires causing them to crash which could have been the reason).
I Don't Like You
During the "Northern Partnership Summit" event, turn back 3 vehicles you previous damaged yourself.

This one confused me but essentially you have to get a car that has no faults (such as broken windows etc.) and no reasons for denying the driver (such as expiration date).

The way I did it was:
- Before I lifted the gate I shot a headlight.

- I let them in, get their documents and damage something else.

- I would cross the entry regulations and deny them entry.

- For good measure, I would damage a third thing as they leave.

At first it may not register it on the achievement progress but continue doing it and you should get it.
You Look Familiar I-III
Arrest wanted criminals based on a photo.

Now this one isn't hard but it is tedious as you only get one wanted criminal every couple of days. You could do this one properly but it would take far too long to achieve.

The way I did it was first find the wanted criminal. I would try to get them closer in the lineup like the 2nd or 3rd one (if 1st then perfect). I would arrest them and once I get confirmation that it was the correct criminal I would reset the entire day and repeat the process.

When you reset the day, the wanted criminal will be in the same position in the lineup and all the other driver will be the same as well (in terms of either being passable or denying them).

However, there have been a few times where a driver before the criminal looked exactly like them but ends up been incorrect. Regardless the criminal will be in the same position.

You can occasionally check the progress to see if they count. It can sometimes occur that the progress doesn't change but it does fix up when you continue to do this method (at least in my case).
Dirty Cop I-III
Take a bribe.

With this one, the same method can be applied from "You Look Familiar" in Inspector Mode.

I recommend finding a smuggler that is closer in the lineup and one that will offer a bribe once you find a hidden stash. Once you take the bribe and approve them, reset the day and repeat.

This achievement is less tedious then "You Look Familiar" as you encounter many smugglers but for my morally inclined players who don't feel right taking bribes (but are willing to exploit the core game) then this method is for you.
Fast and Dangerous
Arrest a fugitive within 40 seconds in the "Pursuit" mission.

I recommend using the Zaved (fully upgraded preferable) and just getting them as fast as possible. I believe that if they die during the chase it still counts (but I'm 100% sure).

It's easier to achieve when it's the smaller cars as you can push them around easier. If you don't succeed there's a ton of opportunities to try again but you can also reset the day (which I believe doesn't change the daily mission or the car that you pursue).
Drunken Master
Perform a perfect inspection while under the influence of alcohol.

I was able to do this one in Campaign but you should be able to do it in Inspector Mode as well.

I recommend going to the inn where you can buy alcohol and purchasing 5 or more (just in case) bottles of alcohol and putting them in the accessible inventory. Before you let the driver in, drink a bottle.

During your inspection make sure to watch the status effect on the top right corner as there is a timer. On the safe side I'd recommend drinking a bottle when the timer gets to half way or a quarter left so you don't lose the status effect.

Just make sure you are drunk for the entire process from opening the gate to watching the driver leave to ensure you get the achievement.
Fantastic Five
Escort 5 people on foot in handcuffs at the same time.

Now this one was tedious but there are guides for this one. I was able to get this achievement in Campaign.
- I started from the sawmill arrested who I could (apparently two people).

- Then walked down to Vlad's shop and arrested the one guy sitting in front.

- Continued down the dirt path to the inn to arrest whoever else I could.

gunnieradd's guide ("HOW TO GET THE FANTASTIC FIVE ACHIEVEMENT!!!") does a pretty good job of explaining how to do it.

I suggest walking the entire time to make sure the npc's don't run away. From memory I believe occasionally pointing your gun on them discourages them from running. However, if they do start to run, quickly catch up and interact with them (this gets them to start following you again).

This achievement is annoying so you might have to try it a few times to get it. If you do lose one, I'd suggest restarting the day or stopping drivers on the road (although this method is tedious).
Officer Stories Achievement

To get the full story of each officer (Moscovitch, Novik and Kovalsky), first you need to fully upgrade them. After this you have to take them on intervention missions to further unlock their story.

I recommend doing this in Campaign if you plan on doing the other achievements on this guide. I am not sure if this can be done in Inspector Mode but I suggest doing it in Campaign (although you can only take them on intervention missions and not main story missions).

When you do take them on intervention missions make sure to finish the mission as quickly as possible as they are prone to die quickly.

Watch the top right to see if they die so you can restart at the last checkpoint. If they die before you finish then you don't unlock the new dialogue (from what I've read).

From memory, I think you have to take them on two missions to fully unlock their story (you get the achievement once you finish their story). However, you may have to finish the Campaign twice to unlock all their stories.
Closing Remarks
I hope that this guide has shed some light on the achievements that players may be struggling with. I apologise if there is a lot of information but I wanted to provide as much details as possible.

The methods I used such as restarting the day to catch wanted criminals or taking bribes worked as of 07/2025.

Feel free to leave comments on achievements that you found difficult and I will try my best to provide any advice that could be useful.

Happy hunting!
