Necroa Archovirus

Description


A highly configurable mod that adds a single new infectious disease: the Necroa Archovirus. It spreads via shamblers to anything they can penetrate with claws or teeth.




By default, if a shambler’s attack causes a bleeding wound, there is an 85% chance it will infect the victim with Necroa. When the victim turns, they will belong to the same faction as the attacking shambler.

In the mod settings, you can configure the base chance to spread infection, whether a bleeding wound is required, and the severity added per attack.


Q: Does it work with Biological Warfare?
A: Absolutely. It was originally part of this mod, but due to popular demand, I decided to separate them.

Q: Is the source code available somewhere?
A: Yes, my GitHub is BlueEagle421.

Q: CE?
A: No idea.

Q: Can I add it mid-play to an existing save?
A: Yes.

Q: Can I remove it mid-play?
A: I wouldn't recommend it, but if you somehow manage to erase all the mod content from the save, it could work.

The mod was made by me - BlueEagle421 (Ushanka back in the days). I decided to use my old nick here, because it was used in all the other mods.

yea a lot of mods these days are just a profile image and a sea of purple boxes. there had to be a better option than IMGUR :S

IMGUR has decided to just block all UK IP adresses (due to age verification requirements, I presume). Any chance of getting the details not in image format, short of a VPN?

the mod spawned over 1000 pawns and my screen went black can you put a limit on the amount of shamblers in a swarm IF your mod is the one that does the shambler raids

Not sure if it was brians missiles or biological that had to handle the extra ones, but the deadlife rockets dont seem to appear with just this mod
