Aww, so glad you love it that much! That reaction made my day!

Good Creator.
Also, thank you for the kind words about the art! I'm definitely planning to add more characters over time, including Ashland & Fiama since they're such important story companions. I'll keep updating as I draw more characters.
Thanks again for taking the time to help troubleshoot and share the solution with other users - your feedback really helps improve the mod for everyone!
Thank you so much for the detailed feedback and troubleshooting!
You're absolutely right about the translation being confusing. Also, since this mod was originally created for a Japanese doujin event, I didn't fully consider the inconvenience for international users - I thought it would be acceptable to ask English and Chinese players to make manual adjustments. Based on your feedback, I've made some updates:
- Modified the mod so users no longer need to manually change Japanese location names (浜辺/海) to English
- Simplified and clarified the English and Chinese descriptions
I'm testing these changes on my end and they seem to work, but as you experienced before, sometimes things work differently for different users. Hopefully this resolves the compatibility issues!
would love to also see Ashland & Fiama in your style since they're also important main story companions.
so tried turning off all other creators' texture replace mod one by one except for yours for companions. (deactivating-exiting the game-starting the game-loading the save and checking-deactivating other one-exiting the game-repeat)
and found out It was not a incompatibility issue, but rather the way how Texture Expand files work in the first place.
'after editing and saving the Texture Expand config file, the mods must be re-activated at least once in order to apply the change'.
hope this information can help other users that experienced the same issue.
(because the Swimsuit mod page's description is rather confusing to read and needlessly long, most likely a translation kink):
edit this file on notepad↓
Swimsuit_Replace.textureexpand
change 浜辺 to Shore, and 海 to Ocean
I already tried
-re-subscribing
-changing load order(Texture Expand-Normal-Swimsuit)
-deactivating and re-activating
-re-subscribing the Texture Expand
none of these worked. (for obvious reasons.)
One important thing to check: Are you playing in English or Chinese language? The swimsuit version only works in specific locations, and if you're not playing in Japanese, you need to modify the "Swimsuit_Replace.textureexpand" file as mentioned in the description. The current settings look for Japanese map names (浜辺/海), so English or Chinese players need to update it to "beach"/"ocean" etc.
