Solution based on KingKrouch’s repository[github.com], who compiled[github.com] this tool for the Legacy version some time ago. I was only able to get it working with the HD Update that was just released a few hours ago.

It may crash for no apparent reason sometimes. I’m trying to find a solution to fix this issue.
Setup
  1. The installation is simple: just copy and paste into the folder
    \steamapps\common\DRAGON BALL Z KAKAROT\dlc\Remaster\AT\Binaries\Win64

  2. It’s important to enter the 'dlc' folder from the root directory, that’s where all the HD Update files are located; everything else is from the original game.

  3. Unzip the files from the .zip into the folder where the remaster's executable is, using your preferred file compression manager.

  4. You can set the FPS limit to your liking in the Config.ini file; for me, it’s set to 240 FPS.

Broken vsync + FPS lock issues

AFTER

Vsync issue fixed, adapted to my monitor refresh rate and no FPS lock
Performance Boost
If your performance at high frame rates isn't optimal for your PC, you can choose to run the game in DirectX 12, provided your graphics card is modern enough to support it.

Although the HD Update includes DX12 runtimes, the game still runs on DX11 by default.
You can launch the game in DX12 by using the -d3d12 command line argument to gain a noticeable performance boost and more efficient resource usage suited for modern graphics cards and processors.

DirectX 11 (default)

DirectX 12 (-d3d12)
