Description
Models given a combination of higher quality hands, higher quality rigging or higher quality meshes. Gone is the 2004 optimisation of mitten gloved humans, now prepare for 2002 quality full finger fidelity.

Features:
  • Full 5 finger hand fidelity for all human NPCs that previously lacked them including every citizen model, Combine Soldiers and Metropolice.
  • Higher quality vanilla accurate Combine Soldier models refitted from Romka's models with jigglebone pouches.
  • Procedural bone rigging included or enhanced.
  • Procedural 3, 4 finger bones for animations that did not include them. (no animation replacers needed)
  • Fully retexture compatible, the new hands are fitted to the old materials almost exactly.
  • LOD models retained.


Bonus Features:
  • Full mod content model sources on GameBanana[gamebanana.com] for modders.
  • Garry's Mod player model replacers.
  • Female animations given the full animation set from males with corrected proportions.

"Procedural?" This mod includes procedural animated helper bones like wrists that you'd usually only find on the original unmodified HL2 models (and only on the friendly human NPCs.) Also included are procedural bones for the ring and pinky fingers so those fingers wouldn't stick out with certain animations like holding a weapon.

Use the models from the playermodel pack if you want finger posing. The models here automatically animate the fingers relative to the middle finger to avoid issues with existing animations

@THG Thanks! Appreciate your hard work fellow! I usually mess around with the advanced bonemerge tool and I SPECIFICALLY got this for Grigori so I was just wondering what was up. Makes it nice and smooth when all the fingers are there. I'll probably go in and do that. I also wasn't aware that those WERE reskins, I must be blind!

Wag1 piff ting, unfortunately there's no plans for it because it's a pretty small detail you'll probably not notice in-game. M'lord, THG, noticed that Eli and Grigori are missing their procedural bones only because it's not setup properly in the model script. You can replace the .vrd with the standard citizen version and restore them!

It's important to note that the GOAT (THG) only covered the CSS hostages because they're playermodels and literally just a reskin of the citizens. Additionally, have you tried enabling FNAF? :aurip:
