Description
CV Class 3, Core 1, Unlock Level 12 - Reforged Eden 2 Only

Primary roles: Starter Base, Starter CV, Production, storage, Mining, Large Landing pad, Upgradable

The TRANSIT AWESOME PAD 1000 is starter base that can be upgraded to a functional CV that also does mining, production, and can move around other creations within reason. This build was inspired by the video game Satisfactory. Also on this post is a link to the TRANSIT-AP-2000 which was already upgraded to a core 1 starter CV.

Stock Features

The Transit-AP-1000 is meant to spawn early game as a starter base. It comes equipped with 1 large constructor, 2 small constructors, 5x200K storage, 1x200K harvest storage, 14K ammo box, many other sort boxes, 12 sentry guns, Wifi, Fridge and food processor, full medical bay, armor locker, weapon locker, o2 and dispenser, and ATM. The interior hull area is built with steel and some cargo extensions. Areas away from the interior hull area are built with carbon substrate. It was designed to be upgraded in game play to a CV miner.

Upgrade options

The Transit-AP-1000 Has a ton of upgrade options. This includes a warp drive, shield, small shield parts, 6 mining drills, armor repair, repair bay and console, teleporter, tons of thruster locations, pentaxid tank, 4 small, 4 medium, and 4 large turbines, additional 1x3 generators, 4x constructor/deconstructors, 2x universal constructors, up to 4 small constructors, pilot and passenger seats, and a gravity generator. The ship contains "LCD info" P menu option which shows many of the part locations however many other part locations are replacing block made mock up parts on the hull, mainly used for thrusters and mining drills. Also it has locations to add 2 Basic, 2 Improved, and 2 advanced CPU cores.

Offense and Defense

The Transit-AP-1000 is built with steel, some cargo extensions, and carbon substrate in places that don't protect the interior. It comes with 12 sentry guns and a 14K ammo box. It is not meant for combat, only drone and enemy troop defense. Since this is a CV and not actually a base, you should not get base attacks after spawning.

19. Locations to add 2 basic, 2 improved, and 2 advanced CPU cores.

Also spawned in vanilla in creative mode removed ATM and 4 sentry guns to meet block limits then saved as new blueprint with new name. None of the old carriers built for vanilla work anymore. Link to vanilla version https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3595238647

This has been my main ship (with some changes) throughout my latest playthrough of RE2. I adapted this to my liking by making it all white. I appreciate that it is extremely functional and has a good workflow. If I had to work on this ship as a job, I would not complain. Expanding CPU is easy, and I can park a mining SV, an attack SV and HV, and my heavily-modified Honeybadger on the deck. The rear ramp is clever: janky but gets the job done for HV boarding if you land with a very nose-high attitude.

Anyway, just wanted to say that this is a good, workflow-optimized ship design, and probably enjoyable by people that prioritize ease of use over roleplay.

Actually using this in a Vanilla, game just removed the atm machine and the ore controller and it works as a level 10 if remenber correctly, did some internal rework for some farm plots and "crew quarters" along with ading on the upper deck some drone defense (4 x 15mm retractable gatlings ) removed the extra RE2 lcd stuff and its now "my" intergalactic jump mobile base!
