5 Finger Playermodels

Mô tả
Player model component of 5 Finger & Procedural Humans.

Replaces default playermodels with enhanced models given a combination of higher quality hands, higher quality rigging or higher quality meshes. Gone is the 2004 optimisation of mitten gloved humans, now prepare for 2002 quality full finger fidelity.

Features:
  • Full 5 finger hand fidelity for all human NPCs that previously lacked them including every citizen model, Combine Soldiers and Metropolice.
  • Higher quality vanilla accurate Combine Soldier models refitted from Romka's models with jigglebone pouches.
  • Procedural bone rigging included or enhanced.
  • Fully retexture compatible, the new hands are fitted to the old materials almost exactly.
  • LOD models retained.

"Procedural?" This mod includes procedural animated helper bones like wrists that you'd usually only find on the original unmodified HL2 models (and only on the friendly human NPCs.) Also included are procedural bones for the ring and pinky fingers so those fingers wouldn't stick out with certain animations like holding a weapon.

Ayyyy. I consider this to be a "must-have" installation for even a default Gmod experience. That being said, any chance you'd consider applying this same enhancement to the CSS playermodels? Both the T's and CT's still have the webbed fingers. I know Fesiug's Enhanced Playermodel Selector exists, but I'm looking for every default playermodel to be uniform under filz0's [Need A Hand?]: Automatic C_Hand Generator; the sort of low poly-ish hands of the world models is personally more appealing to me than the dedicated c_hand models. Either way, great work! Looking forward to anything else you might make in the future :)

Apologies, the material was misspelled on THG's model. "Elte" instead of "Elite." THG has updated the addon with the fix! Thanks for pointing it out :)
