[B.A.S.E.] Feminine Barista VO [All Chapters]

This accompanying mod adds a feminine barista voice to Coffee Talk! This mod spans the whole game; every route and choice you make has been voiced with quality acting and audio fidelity.

With B.A.S.E. mods you also have the option of playing with a masculine Barista voice if you rather like! Check out our accompanying Masculine Barista voice mod here:

With B.A.S.E. mods you don't need to use a specific Barista name; the characters will refer to the player in appropriate and creative ways without breaking immersion!

It's highly recommended to turn down the music (BGM) volume to 40%! You can keep SFX and Ambience at 90%.
Please do not use Auto Dialogue (set it to Off)! The game doesn't know how long the audio clips lasts for, so it can skip in the middle of spoken lines.

1. Click Subscribe to the mods you want to use (green button).
   
2. Let Steam finish downloading the workshop items (It will look like a Coffee Talk update is downloading).
   
3. Start Coffee Talk.
   
4. Once in the main menu, click on MOD in the bottom left corner of the screen.
   
5. To activate the mod(s) you wish to use click on it/them on the left side list, they will be placed in the right list in Active Mods.
   
6. Once you're done choosing, click the top right corner [X] to close the mod menu.
   
7. (Recommended:) Go to the Options menu and put Music (BGM) volume to around 40% and SFX and Ambience to around 90%. Close the Options menu when done.
   
8. You can now start/continue playing Coffee Talk! Enjoy!

After subscribing to the mods and letting Steam download them (Restart Steam if it doesn't) you will need to load the mods in the Mod menu in the bottom left of the Main Menu once in the game. Entries in the left list are installed mods and entries on the right are activated mods. It's recommended to only load the Customers mod and one Barista mod, if you want to play with a Barista voice.
If you use mods from other creators than B.A.S.E with overlapping characters, take note of the order of the mods in the Active Mod list, as the bottom ones will override the ones loaded first at the top of the list.
If you play on a Mac, please look for the macOS question further down.

Coffee Talk music is for some reason mixed REALLY LOUD. For the best experience please turn music volume down to 40% (Options -> BGM slider). You can keep SFX and Ambience volume to the default 90%.

While you can use other voice mods there is no guarantee the volumes of other non B.A.S.E. mods will be the same, so the experience might be sub par. If you do use other mods make sure to load them last (bottom of the mod load list) to ensure it overrides overlapping assets correctly.

We have measured an increase in loading times when voice mods are activated. We suspect this is because the game has to load, decode and store the raw audio in memory before it is being played. Don't worry, this is normal!

Sadly, no. While Steam downloads the workshop items the game simply cannot read/load them. This is a game code issue, possibly an OS limitation. You will have to let the game developers know you want this as they are the only ones who can fix this.
