CAT 3406E 2WS Straight pipe sound

Description
This mod is CAT 3406E 2WS engine straight pipe for some SCS trucks and many modded trucks.

Latest Version Feature:
-CAT 3406E 2WS 435-550HP and 700HP Tuned engines with straight pipe sound
-Automatically activated engine fan
-Exhaust stack simulation effects
-Sound attenuation effects for realistic sound fade off from the distance
-Sound distortions and directional effects for realistic distortions from different positions around the truck

Sounds good under 1500 rpm and over. But cruising down the hwy at 1500 rpm theres a horrible drone. Its ear piercing almost.

Just checked the info tab in mod manager. Mine says ver 1.1

@Varmitdan the 1.56 compatibility update is not backward compatible with 1.55, if you insist on using 1.55 you can get previous version from truckymods

I too have no sound in 1.55 and I still have not updated the mod from July 6th when I subscribed. Funny thing, this is the only one of your other engines that i have that has this problem. I had it in every truck I had. I disabled every one of the 100 mods that I had and no go. I changed to the C-15 and it is fine. I did update the 'sound fixes' mod. Could it have something to do with that?

i updated my game and mod and sound still wont work. any help?

the new update to new fmod version to be properly compatible with 1.56 will make the mod not work in 1.55. thus, if you would like to use this mod in 1.55 you'll have to revert to the previous version. https://truckymods.io/american-truck-simulator/sound/cat-3406e-2ws-straight-pipe-sound-897271
