Deltarune Dark Fountains

You should play the game before using this addon


Opening dark fountain doesn’t do anything besides creating smoke, this is just a visual effect, i made it because i thought it would be easy and quick to do (it wasn’t)

UPDATE: Now you can change the map by opening a dark fountain. This is optional, regular version that doesn't do anything is still available


Located in weapons / DELTARUNE

Hold LMB until sound effect stops

Look at the ground

Release LMB

Press undo (default “z”) to remove the dark fountain


The addon wasn’t tested in multiplayer at all, so there might be bugs in multiplayer

The addon might lag, especially on older computers, if that’s the case you can try these commands:

DarkFountainSetting_DisableLight 1 - disables light
DarkFountainSetting_LightFPS - fountain's light update frequency (Default 30)
DarkFountainSetting_HorizontalResolution (Default 10)
DarkFountainSetting_HorizontalResolution - fountain's shape quality(Default 50)
DarkFountainSetting_MaxSmokeParticles 0 - disables smoke You can also lower or increase the amount of particles instead of disabling them (Default 750)
DarkFountainSetting_SmokeLifetime - time it takes for particle to despawn in seconds (Default 30)
DarkFountainSetting_ShockWaveCount 0 - disables shockwaves on the ground (Default 5)
gmod_mcore_test 1 - improves performance of the game in general

Using it in smaller, closed spaces should be better for performance
