Fur griseus

The Fur griseus are patient bibites and are known to stalk a prey during times of hardship, once its prey has found food it'll pounce ahead, snatching the food and leaving the target to starve.

It is unknown why it does this, however it may be to remove other competing species and starve them for their meat.
