The Office (US) Set Re-Creation

Hello! Welcome to my first Teardown map! This is a highly detailed scale re-creation of the set and a spawnable item props pack from the TV show The Office. The level is made up of over 4000 objects and has more than 175 spawnable props. Each detail has been modeled to be as accurate as possible to the actual set, down to the art on the walls and items on people's desks. The entire building is also flammable. Details include:


- Accurate re-creations of people's desks.

- A dynamic HVAC duct and ceiling tile system. Ceiling tiles will fall if disturbed, and ducts will sag if their supports are destroyed.

- An electrical system where lights can be turned off and on.

- An 18-piece model of the multi function printer used in the show, complete with removable toner cartridges and paper.

- Vending machines with items and accurate models of their inner workings.

- Filing cabinets and shelving units filled with items, as well as the drawers of desks.

- Pixel art re-creations of the art and posters on the walls.

- Models of classic show props, like a Dundie and toys on peoples desks.


THIS MAP WILL LAG! There is a reduced lag version where the HVAC ducts are no longer dynamic, the ceiling tiles are fixed in place, and details like items in drawers and cabinets have been removed. There is also a version of the map where the building is completely empty.

I hope you enjoy! I have spent hundreds of hours working on this map off and on for over a year. This is my first real map for Teardown, or at least the first that I feel is good enough to upload to the Workshop. I may continue to add details here and there, but I consider this map pretty much finished. Unfortunately there just isn't enough footage to go off of to recreate the bathrooms and the hidden stairwell, so those areas have been left empty. Up next, I'm trying to finish up a scale model I made of my apartment that has a functioning electrical system with wires in the walls.
