[TBOI] The Bloat

The Bloat is one of the most infamous bosses from the Binding of Isaac:Rebirth, fueling rage for thousands of players worldwide. Over the time I've come to love this little guy even if he instakills me sometimes, that's why he's the first boss I thought about porting in Garry's Mod. He is really hard to beat though so good luck beating him without dying.

This project started as a stupid experiment with 2D sprites in Gmod, it quickly became my biggest side project for a few months when I had the motivation to work on it. I think I might be the first to port a boss like this. It's my first time modding in gmod so the code may not be very optimised. I've created a Github repository in case anyone wants to look at it (I think the brimstone laser code could be used in other mods for example, it's kind of incomprehensible though) : https://github.com/Darkenblox/Bloat-in-gmod
