The AK-107 is a highly advanced iteration of the Kalashnikov platform, chambered in 5.45×39mm and featuring the unique Balanced Recoil System (BARS). This system uses counter-moving parts to dramatically reduce felt recoil and muzzle rise, allowing for extremely controllable automatic fire. Though more complex than standard AKs, the AK-107 offers increased accuracy during rapid bursts, making it ideal for elite units operating in close or medium-range engagements.
