Scoped AN-94 with olive furniture including an MFT AK handguard from CoD: Black Ops 2

A cuckoo clock of a gun from Russia that won the Abakan contest against competitors that included the AEK-971. It was supposed to replace (or at least supplement) the venerable AK platform, but seeing as it is at least 25 times more complex than the latter, it was never adopted. It sits firmly now along all the other "limited use" weapons of this country, being too gimmicky to be used on the frontlines by anyone who isn't a Tier 1 operator with several doctorates. Besides looking like a rifle that's been run over by a heavy truck due to its canted magazine and strangely angled grip, its most notable feature is the "hyberburst", which fires the first two shots fast enough for the operator to not have their aim thrown off by the recoil. The two-round burst feature would later be vainly shoehorned into the latest AK iteration as if it has any use on such a slow-firing weapon.


If you are reading this, then you survived Cordis Die. Black Ops II is now a historical game, hell, in a few years it will be considered a boomer shooter. I've long wanted to make a sniper version of the AN-94, specifically the hunting rifle due to its 15 round magazine, which is perfect for fifteen two-round hyberbursts. For this model I had to use the SVU scope since it was the only one modeled on both sides in first person. I made a Cordis Die logo that looks like one of those stickers we buy on marketplaces which is placed where a player's custom emblem would go in BO2. The gun has the Bloodshot camo that makes it look like the PMCs from the game, and the Skin 2 has the reverse paint scheme that makes it look like an MW2 AK with Urban camo. And despite the model being rather futurized, I disabled the barrel from moving when the bolt is racked. It is also animated on the world model and slightly reciprocates when firing like the real thing.
