Description
gm_caspian2 is a large, open sandbox map for Garry’s Mod, set in a vast desert environment. Inspired by the dry landscape of the caspian sea, it features wide stretches of sand, minimal structures, and a realistic sense of scale—perfect for vehicle testing, cinematic scenes, or large-scale multiplayer battles. The map offers a clean,layout ideal for creative building and classic Gmod bullshittery.btw i put a few little easter eggs involvings ads and a radio,drop down in the comments if you find them!

i was too lazy to build AI nodes (bruh it would double the time of making lol),however i tried my best at optimization.
have fun.

@Melious well that is because i made the map against the source engine mapping principles so i can only negate this issue unfortunatly

Very nice map, but it has some performance issues, it's noticable on weak PC, when i turn my head to look at far away lands it drops FPS really hard, from 150 to 20-30 with lowest of 2 (i don't have this issue on other maps)
Other than that i like the map, hopefully this issue will be fixed :steamhappy:

@decay I've written an extensive toolset for map exploration that allows me to peek into the map logic and general contents of the map. I was looking at 'active' (i.e. input-output connected) entities and saw the ambient_generic with a .wav file for the sound. Admittedly, I was a bit curious about map's hefty size but I didn't investigate it properly.
