Description

[06/12/2025]: v1.0

This little commissioned mod adds a new growable plant that yields a new edible resource that can be used as meat.
You need a minimum of 8 growing skill in order to sow it. Yields and growth time are exactly the same as vanilla strawberries.

Art and code done by Argón.

Mod commissioned by Moxie.

Love this mod and would like to use it properly... but I instead discovered meatleaf is affected by the Strawb My Berries mod XD

Thumbs up for just doing the apostrophes correctly in the flavor text lmao

Does this one need a research to unlock, that would be nice to balance it out. There's another mod that adds plant meat but it feels OP to have it right out the bat.

now can it eat dead corpses to grow faster?

I need to know.

I've seen a lot of mods that grow meat plants, but this plant has the prettiest graphics while remaining true to the rimworld style. It could be useful on a gravship too. Nice work!

so.. because of this specific mod im about to make a stew selling empire. because i can just grow rice and meat and just make a ton of stews to sell via trading and hospitality. thank you for being the sore reason my military is going to be funded <3

Awesome mod and precisely what i was looking for! I especially like that you took the time to make custom textures for the 'meat' leaves. Thank you very much for your effort! ;)

I'm reminded of scientists taking all the DNA but leaving the scaffolding from a leaf and then regrowing the tissue with it using some kind of animal meat cells.

All this to say I'm downloading your mod.

No, it counts as if being meat
