Description
Description
This mod adds a Legendary Hero, named Tordek Ironheart, to Thorgrim Grudgebearer's Karaz-a-Karak faction (main Dwarf faction). The Hero appears at the start of the campaign beside Thorgrim. The Hero has unique abilities, skills (with some skills buffing Hammerers), and also has unique artefacts. The mod should be compatible with everything.

Note
You need to start a new game for the mod to work. Tordek is not in Warhammer's lore and the AI will get him if the player is not Karaz-a-Karak.

Feel free to use, edit or change any of my mods. You have my permission to do whatever you want with them.

Special Thanks
Thanks to user, Megasuperheavy, for taking cool pictures for me to upload!

Charity
If you are feeling generous, consider donating to the Believe in Tomorrow Children's Foundation. When my daughter was born, she had to spend the first two months of her life in the hospital. This wonderful charity provided a very comfortable place to stay for those two months, so my wife and I could stay close to our daughter. Here is a link... https://believeintomorrow.org/

@BastaGOG The mod works, but if every mod for you isn't working, sounds like an issue with Steam. You can try restarting Steam and unsubscribing/resubscribing to mods, but you might have to just wait if it's a Steam problem

Thanks for the replies. My purpose was simple education. You'd be surprised at the number of people who think it's illegal to use a mod without permission or that doing so is somehow some terrible moral crime. The game is copyrighted which means that any mods made using ANY part of it, not only cannot be copyrighted, but cannot be classed as intellectual property. To repeat, the purpose was education, not criticism nor drama - even though drama occurred. It's the Internet where dramatists live. Again, great work and many thanks for the mod.

Gentlemen, no need for getting upset or name calling. This isn't the best spot for a discussion like this, although it is an interesting topic

No, it's not. It is how new modders are made.
You gatekeeping the community, because your but is hurt is a certified dickmove.
I have adapted modded characters to my prefrence and it eased me into modding to start at something i know works and go from there. As i do not post this on the internet it is fair use.
As i lerned something about modding, it is fairly desired by other modders and useres alike to build knowledge. You telling people to require your consent makes a fool of you.
Keep you wrong ideas to yourself and spare us the drama.
Authors communicating their stance on further use is courtesy and appreciated,
while avoiding misunderstandings later down the line. I am grateful for the effort 💕

@pointman Super weird take, mate. I have no idea why you had to say that. Even though the assets belong to the game, someone spent time arranging those assets in the Asset Editor to make something that looks new. Someone spent time working inside the database to make things work. Someone scripted stuff. Taking that for granted and just yoinking it for your own mod is a certified dick move.

@pointman Thanks! Yeah, I know about the permissions. Since I only use assets already in the game, CA owns the mod. But, a lot of modders make a big stink about permissions, so I just state it to avoid possible drama. Join a modding server and say you just take assets from other people's mods without asking, and watch how fast they'll shun you or try to get CA involved lol

Great mod. Very well done. A note though, people do not need a creator's permission to use their mods. You cannot copyright a mod based on copyrighted material (in this case, the game) and you are posting for open access on a public forum. I understand that people think they need to ask, or that it's polite, but neither is correct. it's not immoral nor unethical to use something someone else posted for public consumption, and by law, has no legal claim to.

@Quiver Thanks my good man!
