Escape from Castle Goonenstein

Description
** Mod is a work in progress, and testbed for editor features. all maps, mechanics, and graphics subject to change completely without warning **
Escape from Castle Goonenstein is a remix of maps sampled from Wolfenstein 3D, as an attempt to adapt a pre-doom tile-based map to a modern mapping tool.

In the process, I'm adding immersive sim mechanical staples, remixing classic textures (not yet implemented) and rethinking classic layouts.

Update: Lighting fixed, more goon variety, early end bug fixed, 1 new secret room, and two redecorated.

** Modders, feel free to crib ideas. This is an experiment to see what kind of map styles we can cook up **

I was only able to get at the first secret room, probably because the goon opened it from behind. There's a strange glitch that prevents me from accessing the other secret walls for some reason.

Hitting use or even shooting the wall does nothing, and I get blocked by something invisible in front of it.

Am I missing something?

only problem I found is that goons can open the secret room, otherwise I didn't notice anything else

pushed an update to fix the early ending bug and some remodeling. Turns out I had an event trigger intended to end the level on a goon accessible door. We were startling them. I tested stealth first, so didn't find it til later.

- additional goons added, and more variety.
- fixed lighting issues, and redecorated a bit. Still boring in spots, but it's a work in progress.
- added a secret room with a little artillery.
- bugfix: early ending after going loud at map start

Now, if only we can replace goons with wolfenstein enemies (or, at least, retexture them)

This map is a bit bugged out. You have a good foundation, but the game will end at random points and boot me to the ending screen. Please fix, because this mod is kinda cool

Very fun level, even if its a bit simplistic. Though the simplicity let you make it big, and I like my levels how I like my women.
Some feedback, I got a glitch where after killing a second goon with a gun the level just ended. I don't even know if you can fix that one. It'd be nice if there were a wider variety of enemies, having them all be unarmed goons made the level a cakewalk. And this ones just a nitpick but maybe have the light sources be lower so that the light is coming from the lightbulb. All in all, very fun level, looking forward to more.
