RPK-16

The RPK-16 was an attempt by Kalashnikov Concern to revive the sidelined RPK platform using the basis of the AK12/AK400.

In the late 2010s, Russian VDV Spetsnaz field tested the RPK-16 in Syria, and found that it suffered from the same issues as the RPK74: underwhelming volume of fire, and parts functionality issues, thus the project was again shelved in favor of a new belt-fed machine gun, the RPL-20.


There is a grip attachment slot by the magazine. You can use this slot to attach "Vertical Grip 2" from the "C Clamp" mod for a magwell grip.
